Jeez, seeing these two clips side by side looks like a one sided boxing match if I've ever seen one.

"Gov. Palin, what Supreme Court cases do you not agree with?" "Uhh...I would have to say those cases that I have a difference of opinion with..."

"Sen. Biden, what Supreme Court cases do you not agree with?" "Hmm, well, there was this one case I was actually involved in...

Go back to Alaska, Governor. It will better for all of us.

There's a saying we have around the Jackson house about Gov. Palin. I don't know if you'd find it offensive .... she is referred to as having the Manda seal of approval.

Her answers are so barely committal and wishy washy, I almost find myself preferring the harsh Republican voice of Conservative Christianity. As for the Biden comments about violence against women .... i'm 96% with him on that one ... but I'm not sure I follow the logic of commerce --> federal issue.

Also, Palin needs to stop informing us what a federalist is. Shitdamn we all took American Government already.

...and ...i voted.

Why was Roe bad?

Well, mostly because that's a states right's issue....and because every part of it is evil.

Come on, no one is buying that you oppose Roe v. Wade on a State's Rights basis.

She also told a third grader today that the job of the vice president (aside from being the president's "team mate") is to be "in charge of the United States Senate, so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes."

False. You've taken American Government, so you know that the VP's duties in the Senate pretty much end at making tie breaking votes. He/she isn't in charge of shit in the Senate. That's the job of the (durr) Senate Leadership. (Majority/minority leader, whip, etc...) Damn it! I don't know why, but this frustrates me more than anything she's said, including calling people who live in rural America the "real Americans." No, nevermind, that pisses me off more.

Also, I voted, too. In nebraska they let you go into an election office early and vote, you don't even need to apply for an early ballot or anything. it's pretty sweet. Now, did you vote in MN or IL. I think your vote would count more in MN, as I think we all know who is going to carry IL...(ron paul?)

I'm not registered in MN. Only registered in IL. ...

... the Palin nonsense about not knowing, despite thinking she now knows, what the VP does ... is SO SO SO enfuriating. She did it during the VP debate, and I cheered when Biden proceeded to correct her with how the Constitution defines the duties of the office.

Her excuse about that 'third grader' thing ... was that she was trying to explain it in such a way that a third grader would understand ... this opens up a huge window for insult-fodder.

If there is something intriguing which may arise out of this, it will be how 'real americans' are to be qualified. Is it citizenship? Is it one who seeks, cherishes the refuge of the country? Odds are the answer emerging from the PalinCamp will be one largely exclusive of any immigrant-inclusion. Guuuh let's not get me started on that one.
